I was reading in Matthew 12 33-37 where we have the ability to judge a tree by its fruit. Jesus is speaking primarily about what a person says for what we say is what is in our conscious minds ; our spiritual hearts. We shall be blessed or condemned by what we hold dear and how we act. Oftentimes there exist a need for change!!!
I have been working on change for most of my adult life and I have picked up more than a few helpful points along the way. The most important aspect of accepting the need for change is understanding that the world itself is constantly changing and we need to adapt to these changes in order to be viable in our pursuit of happiness and a more abundant life!!! Inherit in this adaptation is the manner in which we think!!!
As I change the way I think I change who I am as a person. As I do my best to dwell in the Word Of GOD daily I realize that the person who I am today is nowhere near the person who I was a decade ago. Thank GOD!!!
When I stop to consider myself a “fruit-bearing ” tree I am certainly glad that my fruit is getting sweeter. I would not want any leftover fruit!!!!!!! Mark
Just last night my husband and I were commenting on differently we think now that when we use to. We’ve been abiding daily in the Word for almost 10 years with a heart and desire to know and draw near to God. The Word does change you. And the changes are into what we always desired to be. Still a ways to go – but it is WONDERFUL to see it moving in the right direction. 🙂

“I realize that the person who I am today is nowhere near the person who I was a decade ago.”
*yay!*…sometimes I think that of myself too.
