ABBA’S DAY

        I was reading in Mark 14 32-41 where JESUS was in the Garden of  Gethsemane to spend some time with HIS Father in prayer. Verse 36 states ” ABBA ,Father , HE said , Everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me . Yet , not what I will , but what you will.” JESUS was asking HIS Father for direction in HIS Life at a moment in which HE really found HIMSELF in need of the next right thing. HE looked to HIS Father for the answer. GOD is Good!!!

   I remember that when I was growing up I spent most of my time with my grandparents due to the fact that my parents were divorced and my dad could simply not handle all five of us kids. I was more than a handful as a child and just a bit too much for any one person. I spent quite a bit of time with my father , however , knowing how busy he was I never got around to trying to develop a close relationship with him. After he was murdered by his wife and her bodyguard in the country of Panama I regretted my decisions to keep myself from becoming close to anyone. I remember thinking that I should have brought my dad to CHRIST!!! I have been talking about JESUS for most of my life yet  let every opportunity to lead my dad go astray. I know that my father had more than enough evidence to convince him of the need for JESUS and that ,in fact , he could have made the proper choice before he passed on from this Life. I Hope and Pray in the name of JESUS that he did just that !!! Amen!!!

    I am not so much bound in thought of my Earthly father as I am my Father who is in Heaven. GOD is my Father!!! I so Love my Father GOD!!! There is never a time when I cannot , like JESUS , go to my Father in prayer for the next right thing. HE has Blessed and continues to Bless me with so many Blessings that they are beyond my imagination.  HE is my Protector and my Sheild, my Comforter and my Hope. HE is my Salvation!!! Thank you JESUS!!!

    This Father’s Day please reach out to your dad. He more than likely is waiting to hear from you. If he is ” asleep” and no longer with us please ask your Father in heaven to give him a message. He will get it!!! While you’re at it do not forget to tell your Father GOD  ”Happy Father’s Day “.  HE has been waiting as well!!!

THE SEVEN FEASTS OF OUR LORD – TABERNACLES

  I was reading in Revelation 21 1-7 where GOD is speaking about an everlasting in-gathering of HIS people. HE wants to dwell with them forever in Eternity Future. GOD is good!!!

    It was GOD’S plan all along to live forever with those who believed in HIM. To dwell forever with those who Hoped as HE Hoped ,and , Loved as HE Loved. When all is said and done HE will be with us in the New Jerusalem and we shall be with HIM!!! Glory to GOD!!!

      There is a Blessed Assurance knowing the promise of GOD to bring us out of bondage and into freedom. Out of this world and into the next.  Verse 4 states  ” HE will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. For the old order of things have passed away .” Thank you JESUS!!!

      Tabernacles is the last of the Seven “Prophetic” Feasts of our Lord. We will all one day be called out to live with GOD forever. I am so looking forward to that day!!! Life in this realm is interesting ,and ,I am so thankful for the opportunity to be experiencing this Life ,however , bring on Heaven!!! Bring me into HIS Glory!!!

    Let’s get this party started!!!

THE SEVEN FEAST OF OUR LORD – ATONEMENT

             I was reading in Revelation 20 where all of the Dead and all of the Living will come before GOD in judgment . Some of us will spend Eternity with HIM in Heaven while some of us will spend an Eternity in Hell , separated from HIS Grace. I know without a doubt that my Eternity is with GOD!!! Thank you JESUS!!!

      The Feast of Atonement is the Holiest day of the Jewish year. It is a time for complete fasting and a time in which mankind can draw closer to GOD. In Jewish terms the  Day of Atonement  is called  YOM  KIPPUR . Kippur means Kafar and derives from the word Kofer which means to be “ransomed” or” redeemed”. Thank GOD for JESUS !!! We have been redeemed !!! We no longer need a goat in our place ,we have the Lamb!!! GOD is Good!!!

   After Trumpets we need to be ready for a time on Earth ruled by JESUS. Atonement prepares us for just that!!!  Should we be “asleep ” Atonement prepares us for an Eternity with GOD in Heaven. We need to afflict our souls in this preparation. We need HIS Covering!!! In HIS Grace we find that Covering!!! I so Love GOD!!!

   Headed for the Feast !!! We can not come empty-handed. Thank GOD again for JESUS!!!

THE SEVEN FEASTS OF OUR LORD – TRUMPETS

   I was reading in 1 Corinthians15  51-53 where the church will be Raptured to be with GOD . The field workers  will enter HIS Temple. GOD is indeed Good!!!

     Seems as though everybody knows when the Rapture will take place but me. I cannot go on-line without being inundated with false predictions from all around the globe.  In the book of Matthew 24 36-41  JESUS states that no man knows the hour HE will return . Verse 42 states ” Watch  therefore: for you  know not what hour your Lord doth come. ” Thank you JESUS!!!

      I know in my heart that it really is irrelevant when the “end” will be. I humbly believe that our “end” is near the moment we are born. I myself can’t wait to transition to my next life  , however , I will wait untill that time without much ado about nothing!!! Amen!!!

   When GOD spared Abraham with a ram for sacrifice instead of his son  we get a real glimpse of GOD’S grace!!! I see a need to always be prepared for the sounding of Trumpets. At that time GOD will “call out” HIS Church again. We are all going to be rejoicing. Hallelujah!!!

      Should I spot me a ram caught by his horns in a thicket I too shall have a shofar!!!

THE SEVEN FEASTS OF OUR LORD – PENTECOST

   I was reading in Acts 2 2-4 where , during the Feast of Pentecost ,those who accepted CHRIST JESUS were filled with the Holy Spirit by what appeared to be tongues of fire. They began to speak in a Heavenly language ; each to their own. Thank you JESUS!!!

    This Feast was established to commemorate the time which Moses received the Ten Commandments and the whole law .  This year the Feast of  Pentecost is on Sunday , June 12 .  What I find interesting is the fact that on that day  ,with Moses angry ,Three Thousand Israelites died in their sin , and , when the Holy Spirit came upon the whole church ; Three Thousand  souls were saved. GOD is indeed Good!!!

    The Fulfillment of Pentecost came with the giving , by JESUS , of the Holy Spirit to  the church. Prophetically the two loaves baked with leaven represented the entire church of  CHRIST , sin and all!!!  Both Jews and Gentiles alike are brought into HIS Kingdom. Glory to GOD!!!

    This is the last of the  Four Feast which have been fulfilled to date.  The remaining  Three Feast represent times in our lives which are yet to come. Living today in this dispensation of time known as the  “Church Age”  we believers are so Blessed and  Highly favored with the Power which comes from having more than just the Eternal Security  of the “Church Age” believer , we have Gifts from the Holy Spirit which enable us to imitate CHRIST. YES!!!

  The Church is not a building which people gather to worship , the church is the people . Church defined literally means ” those called out “  As GOD’S people were called out of Egypt we too have been called out of our sin and should be thankful that we belong to the Body of CHRIST.Amen!!!

  Going to the fields to see what has been left for me!!!

THE SEVEN FEASTS OF OUR LORD – FIRSTFRUITS

         I was reading in 1 Corinthians 15   20-23 how CHRIST JESUS  is the firstfruits of those who slept. What an awesome sacrifice by an awesome GOD!!! Not only did JESUS come out of the grave , HE overcame death and others followed after HIM!!!  Matthew 27   52-53 states   ” The tombs were also opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised , and coming out of the tombs after HIS resurrection they went into the Holy city and appeared to many.”  Talk about fertility!!!   Our Lord offered to the FATHER  the ” early crops ” of what will be an awesome Harvest!!! Thank you JESUS!!!

   In my humble opinion the resurrection of JESUS should be celebrated everyday!!! What our JESUS did was fulfill all three of the Spring Feasts ; sacrifice on Passover , in the grave on Unleavened Bread , resurrection on Firstfruits, then HE gave us the authority to countdown the Fifty days untill Pentecost with a new expectation!!! GOD is Good!!!

      Before HE ascended to HIS Father JESUS met with HIS people and fellowships with them. HE ministered to them and then disappeared with a Promise. The Holy Spirit was on HIS way to be with us.  Pentecost has new meaning!!! Glory to GOD!!!

       Oftentimes the winters are pretty harsh here in Kissimmee ,yet , every Spring I witness new growth in both the natural and spiritual realms. GOD deserves the Firstfruits of that growth!!!!!!!

THE SEVEN FEASTS OF OUR LORD- UNLEAVENED BREAD

                                I was reading in  1 Corinthians 5 1- 8 where Paul is writing to the Church in Corinth about getting rid of a sin which was  retarding their spiritual growth. Verses 7 and 8 state ” Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump , as you really are unleavened. For CHRIST , our Passover lamb ,  has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival , not with the old leaven , the leaven of malice and evil , but the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” Thank you JESUS!!!

           What GOD is asking us to understand and celebrate is that we are cleansed of the sour and rotting influences of our past lives . The LAMB was sacrificed and we are a new creation made ” unleavened ” by the Power of the Holy Spirit!!! Glory to GOD!!!

    Leaven is a metaphor for sin. The leaven in our lives represents the sin in which we live . Getting rid of all of the leaven in our homes and our lives for one week  merely underscores a willingness on our part to walk sin-free ; Holy. Thank GOD for JESUS!!! We are indeed new creations , cleansed by the sacrifice of a living GOD!!! GOD is Good!!!

    Headed to the well!!!  I am prepared and have ample time for my bread to rise!!!
